The Test Spectrum License Server (tsilmd) is an application that manages floating licenses for all Test Spectrum software products. It operates as a service in Windows (or daemon in Linux) and can be installed, setup, and modified using a graphical or command line interface. Once installed and configured, the license manager tracks the usage and availability of the Test Spectrum product licenses. Client-side users of the service will primarily interact with tsilmd through the licensing interface of the product?they are running. The current list of Test Spectrum tools using the service include VectorPro, VectorPort, Dataview, CodeReport, and TestPort.
